Balanced amino acid profile is the reason for higher milk yields and milk protein thus lower methane and nitrogen losses. For the dairy cows, amino acids are the required nutrients which their absorption goes in parallel with increasing the amount of fermentable carbohydrates in the ration. The balance amino acids, focusing entirely on the limiting ones, Lysine (LYS) and Methionine (MET). Reducing the risk of LYS and MET deficiency provides higher quality metabolisable protein for the cows and rations can be formulated on a lower crude protein basis saving hidden TMR costs. Improving total TMR protein quality can increase synthesis of volatile fatty acids and lactose. Amino acid nutrition is beneficiary for cows through all phases of production but is more noticeable during transition period and early lactation.

How to use

It is additionally administered with the daily fattening and dairy feed of sheep, goats and high yield dairy cows, when needs for limiting amino-acids lysine and methionine (LYS:MET - 1,25:1) are crucial and for the support of protein synthesis. It supports immune system functionality, improves growth rate and the carcass' quality.

Dosage:

Sheep-Goats: up to 50g per day.
Cattle: up to 200g per day.
Poultry-Swine: up to 25g per day.

Nutrition plays a pivotal role in maintaining the health of pullets, quality egg production by laying hens and body growth of broilers. Amino acids play vital physiological role with studies indicating that providing a high protein and energy-rich diet to pullets in their growth and egg-laying phase, showing positive effects on egg mass and yolk weight. The use of amino acids in poultry diets leads to low excretion of ammonia in the environment and improves growth performance of birds. The majority of essential amino acids are perceived as critical resources for cytokine production and immune function.²
The demand for essential amino acids is likely to increase in the presence of immune stress or inflammation. Also, amino acids are associated with the antibody production in animals. Diseases like necrotic enteritis affect digestion, absorption and metabolism of amino acids. Feeding a diet with additional amino acid content can mitigate this disease. Amino acid supplementation favour caecal butyric acid and total short-chain fatty acids production and support growth, development, feed conversion efficiency while improving immunity. Methionine and Lysine are among critical amino acids considered to be the first limiting amino acids. Methionine plays an important role in the optimum growth performance of poultry and is involved in feather synthesis, important biochemical processes (as a methyl-group donator) and muscle accretion. It also participates in protein synthesis, methylation reaction of DNA, ellimination of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and acts as glutathione (GSH) precursor – a tripeptide, which decreases ROS and protects cells from oxidative stress.³ There is positive effect on meat yield and growth performance in response to supplemental Lysine and Methionine in male broiler diets from 21 to 41 days of age. Lysine improves carcass quality and growth performance of broilers.⁴
